I could get my hands on one...my dad has a compressor, and my boss has the gun, I'm just paranoid I'll screw something up

I'm guessing I need the correct tip (or socket, or bit, whatever they call it), and can I find that easily? also, if and when I get the correct piece, are all guns universal, or does the piece have to be brand specific?

36 mm impact socket, in the drive size of the impact gun, usually 1/2"

prep list:

36 mm impact socket, 1/2" drive

borrowed compressor and impact gun

brake lines for 4-piston calipers

brake fluid (what kind? never bled brakes before)

anything else? (besides regular sockets and the usual do-it-yourself tools)

WHat is the difference in the brake lines? Is it as simple as just putting the 4 piston lines in the old lines place? Im swapping my tII equipment on a 88 n/a and i will also be doing this 5 lug conversion.
