I've never swapped gears, but the differential is pretty easy to take apart.

A GOOD engine swap will take longer than that.

Hmmm. So these 4.30 gears.... will they fit in the rear end of an '88 TII? Any difference between the gears for an N/A and a Turbo? I imagine pulling the diff out and opening it up and replacing the gears is a bit of a bear... Anybody here done this?

Losing teeth on a ring gear sucks period, losing a ring gear @ high speed may cause many other things to become broken which really sucks. These swaps need to be done by the pro's
