I have a first gen. and I am about to purchase a second gen. Its a non-turbo as it sits right now. I might have to drop an engine in there. I can get a turbo motor for fairly good price. btw its an 87. Would it be even up to par with a turboII with the turbo motor in it ? Or would i just be wasting my time? Thanks

A few people on this board have done turbo engine swaps into their NAs, and the general consensus seems to be that you should just buy a Turbo II instead. Its a lot of work and a lot of money. That said, if I had the resources, I'd love to turbo my GTU.
