I didnt know you could run syn if you were premixing, i just heard never to use it in a rotary.

premix faq



Read that pin. We all have stock oil injection (oil metering pump) that injects motor oil into the combustion chambers and it burns with the air/fuel... that is why it was recommended not to use syn oil because it doesn't burn as clean. If you remove your oil injection system, block it off, and premix your gasoline with 2 cycle oil, you can run syn in your engine since it won't be injected into the rotor housings anymore. I don't know how else to say it.

I run 160:1 ratio



for those of you that run 1 oz per gal that's 128:1

I use the the cheap walmart brand of 2-stroke without any issues.
