Start the car and it goes through the 3k warm up then idles just fine. Driving it runs fine as long as i don't push the gas pedal more then 1/4 the way down. Even if i do it's strong about half way through 2nd gear. Then she falls on her face. It almost seems like it has the fuel pressure to get to 2nd gear and runs out of fuel pressure. Had a friend follow me to make sure the exhaust doesn't smell like fuel. The injectors are not leaking fuel under the hood either. Already replaced the fuel filter and had the injectors flushed. While under the hood reving the engine, it seems fine untill the secondary throttle bodies open. Fuel pump maybe?

Update, borrowed the fuel pump from a friends 91 and nothing changed. Fuel pump was not the problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Could be a TPS issue I guess, but I would lean more towards injectors. What do the plugs look like if you pull them?

Ok the check engine light tells me that there is a problem with the Metering oil pump. others with this problem say causes a loss in power just like what's going on with my car.
