i'm new here and i was wondering if any body could answer my question? i have a 1988 RX7 GTU. it is all original nothing has been changed on it. on the hatch is a factory sticker that says "IMSA/GTU RX7 MAZDA MANUFACTURERS CHAMPIONSHIP 1987" if any one could tell me what the purpose of it is and why its on my car i would appreciate it.

 

The 88 GTU was a special model to commemorate Mazda winning the GTU class in 1987 with the rx7.

 

so then i take it it was a rare model??

 

i have that sticker on my rx7 too lol
