13bt vs 13brew
Hi all,
http://my.engr.ucdavis.edu/~pko/13BTvs13BREW.html
I have always stood by this article in telling people that a 13bt will not make over 400hp safely. Just wondering if it was true about the area around the dowel pins o nthe side housings. If this is true, how are people like Soul Assasin able to make that much horsepower? Thanks for helping me understand this.

The 13BTs can handle more then 400Hp. The s4s don't hold as much as the s5s....You really shouldn't have to worry about more strength in the motor 'til your over 500 or so.

Well, my opinion is that 500 is about as much as you should go for reliability. If you'll notice, soulassasin blows his motors quite often, lol...you an run 600hp on a 13bt, but its only gonna hold up for so long...i'll stick w/ 500, lol
