i recently found on a local used-parts store a 13bt engine with all the stuff on it at very low price.so i tried to check the compression with turning the eccentric shaft three times with the plugs on and the exhaust off.i 've heard 6(or 5?) sounds from the exhaust ports.it sounded not as a strong clap but as a weak puff.is this engine dead?

should the ATF treatment work?

B.T.W.please also tell how the injectors or this engines work.i know that it got 2primary and 2secondary injectors.do they all jet at the same time or seperately?

you should hear loud wooshes when spinning the engine.

the injectors are staged primaries then secondaries come online about 3800rpm.

atf treatment might help but there is no telling for sure. if an apex seal is broken or worn out ATF won't do anything....

primaries are center intakes, injectors mount in center housing.
