I remember you said u had a loud clunking noise in ur rear just the same as I do. I found out my=ine was from the u joint in the driveshaft. Take a look at urs and tell me if thats right.

Rear vibration and clunking is usually from one of two things, u-joints or transmission mounts.

Now they get more complex from their, but that's usually the case.

i had the same problem on my 1st gen. it ended up being the u joints as well. cost me about 40 bucks for each one and did the labor myself

Yeah, the driveshaft could cause problems like that.
