13b tranny work
this is where im at. i pulled a 87 13b from a rx. the body was junk and i took everything good off of the car. i felt bad about junking it but it was a good move. i put the motor and tranny in my 87 b2000 truck. the transplant went great and i haven't had any problems except... i think i have a bearing going out in the transmission. all gears have a slight howl (except 4th cause thats a direct hook-up). but my question is for you guys out there that have done transmission work on the fcs. how hard is it? are there special tools im going to need? i assume ita a main bearing but at this time who knows. any info is appreciated.
thanks guys and gals

it most likley the rear counter shaft bearing, its very common (they updated the bearing in the middle of 87).
the n/a tranny is not all that hard to do, you do need a press and some really long bearing puller bars (the factory has a tool set), and a large hammer.
