hey guys I'm new to rx7's and I need your help.

ok,
whenever I drive for a while, about 15 minutes. the car will start to hesitate extremely harsh no matter how much throttle I give it.
I'll be going down the high way at 60-70mph and the thing just falls on its face and starts hesitating to the point where I have to pull over and let it sit for a good 40secs( not to sure if its not just me stopping). then it will accelerate once agian. after highway driving I get to go into city streets where even feathering the throttle from a stop will result in jerking and stalling.
I've done some research but I'm pretty new to rotory, do you think it may the oil metering pump? if not give me what'cha got please.

If it wasn't an RX-7, I'd suggest the ignitor for the electronic ignition, since I've seen several of them fail in other cars that old. But the one's on the rotary seem to last very well.
I'd check the underhood wiring, paying particular attention to grounds. Then maybe fuel pump, fuel pump wiring, fuel filter.
It's not the oil metering pump, but you should make sure those lines are intact, since they are important and pretty easy to break.
Some of the other guys may have some other suggestions.

it can't be the fuel filter or pump( just had a mech check it out). its been like this for like two months now. what kind of grounds should I be looking for? has anyone else ever had a problem like this? I did a search and everyone else's car seems to not have this problem.
