hey guys. im a 240 guy and i dont know jack about rotary (man i feel dumb, i said that in every post i listed here).

im most likely selling my s14 and comming ito a sum of around $12k (car+savings)

what would be the best way to spend that $$ on the FC? im not looking for any 10 second time slips or anything. just something good for grip/drift.

i know for sure im getting either jic magics or teins plu a 2-way kaaz lsd (like on my s14).

but wht would you recomend engine-wise? i mean, it would be mydaily driver as well an i would like the 13b to be reinforced stong enough to take my weekly poundig.

im so sorry if ths sounds like a total newb post but like i said, im blonde to rotaries...

Cool

Well first send me 8k$ then buy a TII motor and swap, get the cats replaced with test pipe, get CAI and free up the exhaust, send me what you have left after that!

...and an standalone fuel management system...

Not a bad way to spend 10 grand.

err, with 12k you could have a pretty badass FC. You should be able to find a Turbo II in incredible condition for only 4-6k. Though what to do with the rest of the money i'm not really sure, you'd wanna talk to the more experienced people here.

With 12k, lets see... buy yourself a tII with a blown engine but a nice body... 2-3k. Next rebuild the engine and port it... you will want to do this anyways, doing it from the start always helps.. hehe. Get yourself a nice fuel setup (dont blow your new engine up! ... i know from experience, d00d.. ) ... engine should be about 2500 bucks, and fuel should be another 600-1000. Now get yourself a nice turbo setup, go with cheapturbo.com and get a smaller bb turbo, maybe a t04r ... anyways, you dont need a bunch of power and you dont want alot of lag for drifting.. After that you have all your power you will ever need.

with the rest of the money, work on suspension. There are many companies with great suspension products for fc's. Especially for drifting. And then if you want, save the other money for when you crash and put it into ditches ....

happy drifting
