Having alot of trouble getting out of the hole, cut a 2.37 60ft with a 9.7 at 75mph, on street tires and a 75 shot.

Chased down a Ls1 Camaro, SRT8 Charger, and a Trailblazer SS.

Yeah that 60 ft is pretty crummy. I bet with some more practice and some fine tunning on the car there is about 1/2 sec to be gained.

I would think you would be faster with a 75 shot. On my basically stock 90 GTU, just had full exhaust and a cone filter, I ran a 10.0@ 73 mph with a 2.1 60 ft.

If I could get off of the line it would have, cutting a 2.4 60 ft is pretty crappy. My MPh was great the et just wasnt there.

Your mph was only 2 better than mine, and my car only had full exhaust and a cone filter. I would expect a lot more than a 2 mph difference when you have a 75 shot. ET tells how good the driver is. MPH tells how good the car is. Even traction issues affect ET considerably more than the trap speed.

Yours is also an s5, Makes a pretty good difference too. Ill try and get the videos up later, you can see as soon as I launched it would bog or spin, but once it got moving I was making up time like crazy, once I got moving i was allright, trying to get used to a Pro Tree isnt that much fun either. Ive got some IMCA tires that Im gonna try next time we go that might help me a bit.

Plus if I could cut a 2.1 60, that is 3/10ths gained, that would put me about 9.3 9.4 range, with a 75 shot that is about right.

Don't worry about it man- my S5 only got 2.388 in the 60'. Sadly 10.7s and only 66 mph (lost to an awd CRV) . For some reason my car did the same and fail on it's face. It would rip in 1st but once in second it took forever to get back into the upper rpm band.
