my 86 had about 37 lbs of it (with padding). A pain to remove. That's not including the stuff I had to strip of with chemicals.

89 Series 5 Savanna. Gearbox weighs 29.5 kilo's, i don't know how many pounds that is. 2000 model 240sx rims weigh about 10 kilo each with tyre (i have them on my car). HKS cat back exhaust weighs 10 kilo.

Hmm, I used to ride some bmx... and.. well, this reminds me of the time... bmx'ers go for the lightest bike right now.. it's trendy, and cool, and etc... anyway, some guys were also talking like this: IE: Hmm, lets see, i can ride brakeless alright, so strip those off... then i guess who the hell needs the mounting points? BAh, get a sawzall!

i use to be in bmx too, i remember at my track people having plastic seats the size of a cup protector with holes through them like swiss cheese, it was crazy.i had my bike down to bout 19 pounds and thought it was to light, so i raced with it around 24 pounds, sorry completly off topic.



i will be removing my a/c after reading this thread...
