I need to clean off all the white powder residue from the fire extinguishers so I can at least look at the right bling bling side for some form of motivation....
Engine compartement and the inside fire wall and floor on the left side will be repainted in the morning...

[quote name='Dragon' date='Apr 28 2005, 09:35 AM']Update...
I welded in some door bars and a cross bar at the bottom of the hoop and welded it to the tranny tunnel... should stiffen things up a little more and give me a nice handle when I need to roll out of the bucket seats. Car went in to the body shop next to our shop today... The car is going to be 4" wider in the rear and 2 1/2" wider in the front. I also have the GT2000 bumper in the mail shortly from RotoryExtreme and threw a Border Racing hood on it. It's getting painted inside and out along with the engine compartment. While it's in for a face lift I'll be redoing the dash and once I get the car back I'll fix the wiring nightmare I found under the dash when I took it all out... The FRP fenders weigh about 1/2 of what the stock ones weighed and the flush mt headlights should weigh considerably less than the bowling ball weight pop up lights. The hood also weighed quite a bit less than the one I took off. All in all I'd guess I dropped about 20-30 lbs off the front end of the car, most of it in front of the tires. Damn I want to drive this thing, but I'm going to wait until I get it all put together before I go out and play...

you ordered a bumper from USA when you reside in Japan?

If I ordered the bumper from RE Amemia they wouldn't have it done until begining of July... They don't keep **** in stock and have an average of 2-3 month wait time to make anything you order from them.

So when do you think it will be done this time? I think we are coming over on friday night to pick up the fenders. Also the ignition stuff in the back of your fc...At what point is that considered a must and how much was it?

Hey Chris that is a major bummer. I started this thread a few min ago and was all impressed and what not until I got to the Car-B-Q part. Sounds like your a pretty hard worker though. I'm sure you'll be back on track in no time. Best of luck.

New fenders and 18 Circuit Painless wiring harness came in today.
Also swapped out the whole rear end/subframe last night with Jerk Racer. I had welded and reenforced the subframe in all the key places where they like to crack and flex. Put Delron subframe, diff and anti rear steer eliminator bushing in. Also put in Urithane trailing arm bushings and a adj K2RD subframe to chassie link. Diff has a 4.3 final gear and Cusco diff. Today I'm putting reflective heat shielding matt on the whole lower fire wall and in to the tranny well to try and help keeps some of the engine bay heat out of the car, making the S14 Greddy raidiator mounts and working on my intake manifold for the side ported engine.
