Ive been looking round for a suitable turbo for my 20b ,and decided ill go for a GT4294R ball bearing from garrett, with an a/r 1.00 (max psi around 20)



Has anyone tried one of these turbos or similar? your thoughts would be appreciated.



Wheres the best (cheapest) place to get one from?

I ran a GT4294 (non-bb) with a 1.05 A/R turbine on my half-bridge 13B last season at 18 psi. Put down 530 and the spool was actually pretty damn good. Started coming on strong at 5k, full boost by 5.5k. Spool would probably be fantastic on a 20B. I got mine for a good price from A-Spec. Sounds friggen awesome too!



If you would settle for a used non-bb, I'm trying to sell mine for $850. Less than 2000 miles and still in perfect condition.
