[quote name='Jeff20B' date='May 2 2005, 02:46 PM']Since I don't have any hard facts to base it on, I can't explain how very well. All I know is the ECU I hooked up is tons more flexible than a TEC. I'll find out soon how well it runs the engine.

Motec is a $$$$ toy isn't it? I looked into a Motec system and it seemed that if I wasn't into some serious logging it really wasn't worth it?

If you don't mind me asking, what did your MOTEC system cost you?

I won't sing praises to my ECU until after I've gotten the engine to run.

the list price for all of the Motec system in my car is gonna be close to $20,000 once it's finished. *I* will have about $5,000 invested in it however.

Can't you just put a little 92mm or 120mm computer fan on it?

I'm using a Motec M8. It doesn everything I want it to, plus. I bought it used from titanmotorsports for $3500 with the wideband option unlocked.
