e-shaft numbering
hey guys
so heres the dilemer, i was on ausrotary haveing a yarn with another guy about the numbers stamped into the 20b e-shaft.
now should these numbers match those stamped on the housings and irons?
if not what do they mean?
his was a c series engine and the shaft was stamp 20,mines a d series and is stamped 26
both these numbers in now way corospond to our engine numbers(that i know of)

That was me
The best I know is the shaft number should match - this is the general concensus. I've now been told the number on the shaft is on one side and the letter is on the opposite side. Look there for the letter.
