can anyone tell me what,20b,13b,12a,and things like that mean.

20b = 3 rotor 2.0 litre's



13b = 2 rotor 1.3 litre's



12a = 2 rotor 1.2 litre's

There was a 10A and a 15A at one time. The 15A never went into production, but it may come out in the RX-8 or a 4th gen RX-7. Try to guess how big each was from the context clues.

yeah, but you can't exactly buy a 26B anywhere unless you happen to have a key to the Mazda garage in japan and a lot of time to jack the 787B Engine.

There are also the 13G, which is a 1.3 liter 3 rotor race only engine, and a 13B 3 rotor engine. The 13B 3 rotor never went into production either, and as far as I know Mazda never made it. It was constructed from 13B 2 rotor parts hence the name.

umm you couldnt have a 13b 3 rotor made from 13b 2 rotor parts because that would up the displacement and it wouldnt be a 13b?
