Hi to everyone (or anyone ) that remembers me!

Question: Anyone using/used these aluminium tip seals from rotary aviation??

as far as i know they are not aluminum, they are very light but

are steel of some kind.

Yeah true. 'Alloy' can be steel too. I just presumed it would be aluminum!

I would think alum. would melt under these conditions anyways.
