Here is what the engine bay looked like a little while ago. Since then I've installed the fenders, hood, and bumper. Also almost all of the interior is back in the car.

I can't believe how long those ic pipes are. Is there any way to shorten them? Can you mount the core behind rather than in front of the cross member, or will it interfer with the space needed for the radiator?

Yeah, it was a chore trying to figure out how to get the radiator and the intercooler in that tight space. I also wanted to leavesome room behind the radiator for an A/C condensor in the future. The intercooler is simply too big to fit anywhere else besides where its at now.

on an fc theres really no way around it. it doesnt seem to make a big difference anyways

Well it can hold at up to 25psi on a regular system. My system will have much denser air at the same psi however I'm only going to be at about 10psi. Hope that answers your question. If not just know that I'm not even coming close to maxing out my turbo or the bov.
