BigTime, you're not familiar with MVA? You're just messin' with us right? I'm sure you've heard of Abel Ibarra, no? Well Marcos used to build Abel's engines, correct? I believe that once Marcos started racing, and became competitive that Abel took his business elsewhere? Just what I heard. Marcos had a very fast MX3 running a three rotor and he's widely known to build some of the best three rotors in the states, if not the world. I've been living under a rock for 2 months and didn't realize, until two night ago, that MVA was going to produce a kit. I live in Florida and have seen Pettit's cars in person. While they are nice and the attention to detail is simply awesome, there are numerous items I would change, maninly the engine specs, placement, and swap to a single over the stock twins. I'm sure MVA has the knowhow and fab skills to produce a car as thorough at Pettit's and then some. I think I cried when I read the stock steering rack would not require removal. Any chance that the custom intake manifold will allow the engine to slide back far enough so that the front of the 20B is in the stock location of the 13b's front plate? Just posting because no one should have any doubt about this shop's skills in making ANY car faster. They have decades of rotary experience too and pro racing credentials. Holy crap I'm goin' three rotor! :-)

I think I need to swing by and check this **** out. If I had 35k to drop on my car this is definately how I'd do it.

I'm a DIY sort of guy, so hopefully Marcos will see fit to send a kit my way in exchange for the right amount of cash...Half the fun is going to be ripping things apart and sliding shiny new things back in! Seriously, I've been debating the move to three rotor for some time. I never liked Peter's setup and Pettit left me wanting as well. MVA is about the only other place that I've seen that has done something to get around the inherent problems of dropping in a three rotor. I couldnt' sleep the night I found out about MVA's conversion. I need help. Or a cheaper hobby. I believe Marcos and the MVA crew are on their way to Gainesville (hopefully there already) for the Rotorfest event. It's only about 5 hours from me but the shoulder surgery is really slowing me down. I want to see these guys run.

No MVA at the Rotorfest 2003 in Gainesville...it was actually pretty disappointing. A guy with a third gen 20B conversion showed up. Did most of the work himself. Great guy and nice car. Makes it hard to wait for my conversion! Anyway, Rotorfest was rained out, makeup day on April 6. There were some fast cars there but most were disappointing.
