MVAMOTORSPORT 11-21-2002 12:34 PM

Financing Avaible For those with good Credit!!!!!

Rob x-7 11-21-2002 04:33 PM

All I can say is WOW.

Sounds like alot of money, but when you consider you get a turn-key car with 600hp, it isnt so bad.

Vosco- go for the financing!

MVAMOTORSPORT 11-21-2002 07:03 PM

Is only 600RWHP @ low boost, Remember you can hit a switch and setup the car for HIGH BOOST which will give you 850RWHP. And for those customer that wish you sign a release contract saying that MVA Motorsports is not responsible if They are in an accident while racing the car or speeding the car, We Would setup the motor for 1050RWHP if you have the guts to drive it.

MVAMOTORSPORT 11-21-2002 07:04 PM

But trust me,, unless you are Automatic, I dont think anyone is goin to want to go up that high. Anyone that wants to do it, Can come to my shop and take a ride in one of my cars, WHEN YOU COME BACK FROM THE RIDE I'LL ASK YOU HOW MUCH BOOST YOU WANT!

94touring 11-21-2002 07:45 PM

Any kind of warranty on the setup?

94touring 11-21-2002 07:47 PM

OH, and how about trade in on parts the person may already have. Take a look at all my crap, how much do you suppose that would deduct off the 35k orginal price tag? My motor has about 30k miles on it, good compression.

bigtime 11-21-2002 10:02 PM

Yea, but look at everything i'm offering, install and everything. Pettit charge the same and it's a stock motor with stock turbos,,

ironmdnx 11-23-2002 09:53 PM

Can you post a price list for the intake , oil pan, mounts etc?

Pettit have street-ported blueprinted motor with rebuild turbos and now with HT-18 turbo upgrade. Pettit also have CAD subframe, special Air Conditioning, Wheels and Tyres, and custom front sway bar. Pettit make many cars. How many 20B Banzai cars you make for street legal?

How you make custom subframe and anti-sway bar?

You use good 20B water pump or bad 13B water pump?

What series 20B motor you use?

How you engine pass US emission? You have EPA waiver for Nippon engine?

What kPa "low boost" and "high boost" means?

vosko 11-24-2002 11:04 PM

MVAMOTORSPORT 11-25-2002 04:43 PM

Everything we use is brand new, I dont have to use Pettis Sub-frame, cost we have found a way to mount the motor leaving all the factory stuff. We dont have to change you sub-frame, nor your rack and pinion, not your spindle everything stays in like factory. All my cars pass emission. 12psi(low boost) is less than 1.0 bar. Anyone else who has more question can PM me.

Rotary Sensei 02-07-2003 01:05 AM

Hello!

This is a very good deal, but what about the Gearbox and differential strength. Surely the standard ones will not be strong enough?

ROTARYROCKET7 02-07-2003 10:40 AM

i wouldnt mind a 3 rotor. How much is is for the 2.0 li 3 rotor engine i heard the engine cost like $3,000-$4,000 :rice:

rx7tt95 02-13-2003 11:46 PM

BigTime, you're not familiar with MVA? You're just messin' with us right? I'm sure you've heard of Abel Ibarra, no? Well Marcos used to build Abel's engines, correct? I believe that once Marcos started racing, and became competitive that Abel took his business elsewhere? Just what I heard. Marcos had a very fast MX3 running a three rotor and he's widely known to build some of the best three rotors in the states, if not the world. I've been living under a rock for 2 months and didn't realize, until two night ago, that MVA was going to produce a kit. I live in Florida and have seen Pettit's cars in person. While they are nice and the attention to detail is simply awesome, there are numerous items I would change, maninly the engine specs, placement, and swap to a single over the stock twins. I'm sure MVA has the knowhow and fab skills to produce a car as thorough at Pettit's and then some. I think I cried when I read the stock steering rack would not require removal. Any chance that the custom intake manifold will allow the engine to slide back far enough so that the front of the 20B is in the stock location of the 13b's front plate? Just posting because no one should have any doubt about this shop's skills in making ANY car faster. They have decades of rotary experience too and pro racing credentials. Holy crap I'm goin' three rotor! :-)

vosko 02-14-2003 09:32 AM

whoa michel..... lol

93 R1 02-14-2003 04:54 PM

I think I need to swing by and check this **** out. If I had 35k to drop on my car this is definately how I'd do it.

I'm a DIY sort of guy, so hopefully Marcos will see fit to send a kit my way in exchange for the right amount of cash...Half the fun is going to be ripping things apart and sliding shiny new things back in! Seriously, I've been debating the move to three rotor for some time. I never liked Peter's setup and Pettit left me wanting as well. MVA is about the only other place that I've seen that has done something to get around the inherent problems of dropping in a three rotor. I couldnt' sleep the night I found out about MVA's conversion. I need help. Or a cheaper hobby. I believe Marcos and the MVA crew are on their way to Gainesville (hopefully there already) for the Rotorfest event. It's only about 5 hours from me but the shoulder surgery is really slowing me down. I want to see these guys run.

Michel

rx7tt95 02-16-2003 09:08 PM

No MVA at the Rotorfest 2003 in Gainesville...it was actually pretty disappointing. A guy with a third gen 20B conversion showed up. Did most of the work himself. Great guy and nice car. Makes it hard to wait for my conversion! Anyway, Rotorfest was rained out, makeup day on April 6. There were some fast cars there but most were disappointing.

I too am waiting on the oil pan and motor mounts from Marcos
