Thats what I'm thinking.Using FC coils and run it direct fire. But I would have to power them in series wouldn't I?

yup, and with fc coils you need ignitors too. the cool setup right now is a gm/nd coil that has a buit in ignitor and they are like $30

Cool that would simplify things a bit more.Where do you get them from and do you just wire them in series?I need to start researching this swap and the more info the merrier.

I already know this would be a costly swap.I'll need twin heavy duty oil coolers and fans and a big *** IC and custom IC piping to go with it.Then standalone with a T2 tranny flywheel, clutch and counterwieght to go on top of that. This sounds like a fun project if I under go it.

you can get em at any autoparts store, they are ls1/lt1 coils. they each get 12v power and each coil gets an input from the ecu

So with standalone like a haltech then theres a signal wire for each coil then? Then each coil will fire at the appropiate time?

Looks like a decent fit.Looks like all motor setup tho. I want to find one with a turbo setup on it.
