Hi peeps

Myself (BTR) and a mate (JRE) have recently pulled my 20b down and it was in good

condition appart from a cracked apex seal, which was being held together with gunk as

it wasnt til we started to clean up that we noticed a corner missing on one of them and

the piece next to it..

anyway my question is I want to run S4 turbo rotors in it with 2mm hurley seals and

what would be involved with doing this, I will be running a TA51 with big amounts of

boost and the engine already is large extend ported , I know balancing is to be done,

but if there is anything else I would love to know before this gets balanced..

Please keep in mind Im from australia and ATM we only have 1 or 2 places that can balance to start with...

Regards

LeRoy

You can't unless you're able to machine the the existing or new counterweights.

no he's saying the only difference is the balance. does heavier rotors mean you have to make the counterwieghts heavier too?

Yes.

Extrapolate to the extreme...

If the rotors weighted "nothing", then you don't need to balance anything, right?

Therefore, more rotor weight requires more weight in the counterweights.
