I guess that you have never seen my setup then.
When I say everything is custom I mean everything! I am running an H-mount intercooler with a fully custom rad. That alone ate up 40hrs easy. Not to mention picking up all the supplies and ordering the rad. It is a custom rad as well since I needed something that was less than 18"x14".
I also have over 30hrs in polishing. I am not a professional polisher and quite frankly I do not have the tools to do the job quickly. Thing are not as easy if you do not have the best tools.
The interior took me 2 hours to remove the interior and over 10 to put it back in. Not including making a custom gauge pod etc, running all the boost lines.
What about the IC piping. I have about 15-20 hours into this. You have to pick up the 3", cut to fit, drop off to get welded, pick back up, polish.
Yes, I am a slow worker. I like to measure twice and cut once. The swap is costing enough I don't want to pay more for a mistake.
Everything adds up, money and time. If you are like me don't expect to just do this swap in a weekend or two. I have spent 9 months to this date on the swap.
Total hours to this date are 375. I keep a spreadsheet of all money and time that has gone into this swap.
Oh, I forgot research into the swap. We wont even go there...
