max boost is relative to max fuel which is relative to how much you have tuned......

Ok say you got the tuning all G. Whats the highest you cna go on pump gas before you blow it up?? I heard the cooling and lubrication are the limiting factors in the rotary engine. Well those and the apex seals. If you run a big radiator and a big oil cooler will it help??

about 18psi, it depends on the intake air temps, among other things

Koo koo. So I guess I'm gonna have to be running a fat intercooler on my car then.

once the air intake temps go over 45-55c then it will be more prone to detonate.

Easy. Ditch the flex plate and bolt up a aftermarket flywheel. Stick a Turbo 11 box on

Oh, don't forget a good clutch

Funny that Mazda said 20B were all auto because there was no manual to take the torque but the Turbo 11 box is fine, even at 350 hp

RPM is the big killer with std apex seals. Stick to 7000 and they will be OK

Add detonation at high boost & RPM tho and you are asking for tears!

detonation will kill the seal no matter the RPM...

The stock seals (they're all pretty much the same from 86-Current) will take a shitload of power, and some high RPMs.

Don't look down on the stock Mazda Apex Seals. They're very good.
