Whats that button and red lite

85 gsl-se Found a square button in the driver side door console. Looks factory but when i push it nothimg happens. Also a red lite where the choke pull was on carb engines. Any clue what they are?

the red light is probably arm light. check and see if it has an alarm on it, or had one.
