Well it's been a while since i've last posted everyone here is very nice i've been dealing with alot over the past couple of months...I've had some problems with Dad's car let's see here. The clutch slave cylinder went out I replaced it. after replacing that the water pump took a dive.. Doh Replaced that... That following friday ha ha ha ha ready for this the Xmember for the Trans Droped the bolt on one side a quick trip to ecology center fixed that

There's only a couple of things left that i need to fix 1 happens to be The oil leak that's coming from the front of the engine right next to where it says mazda 12a and the Rear axle bearings

Also I had a Licence plate frame made that says

No Matter what

It Will always be Dad's RX

But i'm going to have some pics to post really soon

Ok so i had the rear axle bearings replaced they had to be pressed on from a machine shop

so in total 80 for the bearings and to have them pressed on.... I also had to replace the starter so now Dad's ReX is running just fine. ... This weekend taking the car down to the Carwash and putting it up on the Ramps of my brothers Tow Truck to gunk the motor and the undercarrage.

Still need to fix the Tach and that's about it....

Now if the engine is the only place that the oil is coming from besides tearing it down i was talking to someone about this and they said just use some JB Weld till I'm ready to Rebuild the engine. But i have a feeling that with only 12xxxxx on the odometer there's plenty of life left in the engine.

What do you guys think if it's coming from the engine should I JB Weld the spot???

that aint gonna cut it, sorry.

Clean it off and recheck the origin of the leak though. I'd hate to reseal a motor

just 'cause of a leaking hose...

It's either coming from the front housing or the middle right next to where the where it says mazda 12a

What i'm going to do is gunk the engine bring it home and let it run Idle for about 10 15 minutes and see if i can find out where it's coming from

its just a oil seal that goes through there.. that is a primary spot for leaks on first gens. Both of mine have done it over 150,000 miles.
