I am almost done with my turbo II swap.. I still need to do a bit of wiring, fab the transmission mount, and get a blow off valve.. [attachment=44965:turborex.JPG]

170WHP out of a gls-se is pretty damn good.

I had to get a custom driveshaft made. that ran me $340

you will also need a front cover from a GSL-SE or one from a 12A will work also.

Racingbeat.com sells a custom engine mount bracket that makes things a lot easier.

The wiring is pretty easy you only have to hook up like 8 wires.

The custom tranny mount is really easy.

I made a 3 inch turbo back exhaust for it and that way pretty easy also..

First gen's are really easy cars to work with...

I just did the swap so I could give you all kinds of info. I just dont have the internet right now so my time is limited...

when you swap the motor, you'll need to use a GSL-SE oil pan also. but im not sure if the pick-up needs to be changed to the 12a or SE one??? anyone know this?

Yeah the 12A OR the gsl-se oil pick up will also be needed ( they are the same part number)
