Hey guys,

I recently found an '81 RX-7 in excellent shape, but not running, for $500. I figure I can get it for $350. I also can get a full Turbo II S5 drivetrain (tranny, ECU, all components) with under 60k miles for about $1300. I know that if I decide to drop the drivetrain into this FB, it can be done, but I can't find much on how to do it anywhere other than buying the bracket for it from Racing Beat. Anything else that keeps this swap from being straightforward? Thanks.

no not really. you need the gsl-se oil pan, a front cover from a 1st gen, the RB mount thing. the hard part is going to be the 10-15 wires you need to hookup

Custom drive shaft can be spendy also... I just swapped a S5 Turbo II into my FB. so if you need info just let me know..

GSL-SE Parts: Front cover, Oil pick up, Oil pan. AND of course you will need the Turbo II parts:

Racingbeat front engine mount ECU, MAP sensor, Air Flow Meter, air temp sensor

Custom tranny mount Turbo II throttle cable, wiring harness, the first plug is the only one you need

Custom driveshaft to hook any wires up to, And its pretty strait forward...
