on my 85gsl, how often should i change spark plugs, any brand best...thanks

It really depends on how much you drive it. If you are putting lots of miles on it than you will want to change them more frequently. I would say a yearly change of plugs, wires, cap and rotor is a safe bet if the car gets moderate use. Use Ngk plugs.

go w/ NGK plugs Item No. BR8EQ14 (City) or BR9Q14 for (hwy). They should be changed

every 10,000 miles w/ cap and rotor. the wires should last a good 3 years or more. But it's up to you if you want to change then sooner that. Wouldn't hurt!

and if they try to stick you with more than 5 bucks per plug dont buy them.

the factory intervals were 30k miles on the plugs and fuel filter, 15k on the air filter. the belts, hoses and wires are inspected and replaced when they are bad
