THICK white smoke when car starts and as running

hi my name is alan and i have a 1985 rx7 i have a question tho i was told the seals are going and it smokes when i start it and while running so i just have it parked in my driveway i was wondering what seals do i need to replace to stop this it smells like its burning antifreeze if that helps. or anyone who could tell me what i need to do if anyone knows

is it smoking from the exhaust or the engine bay?

check the coolant o rings by the intake manifold. they are prone to fail with age and you also have the option to plug them up with "freeze plugs" These coolant passages on the intake manifold go nowhere as it is just a place for coolant to flow to while your engine is warming up. supposedly it is to speed up to warm up process. download a factory service manual (fsm) at foxed.ca



otherwise we would need more descriptions to help us pinpoint where your issues are coming from.
