I read on a website the other day that the newer 12a's 83+ and the SE 13b use the same size flywheel.So would those clutches be interchangeable?

Luis;

mazdatrix.com/faq/flywheel.htm states that there both 26lbs. Not sure about the amount of teeth.

Another sourse is Cluctmasters.com (That's) where I purshased mine. Just make sure you have a strong leg to keep the sucker in at the lights.

Hopefully were on the same page.

the flywheels are different, the balance wieght between the 84-85 13b and the 83-85 12a is different.

originally they used different clutches too, the 13b getting a thicker disc and better pressure plate, but i think they have made everything 13b
