the gsl and gsl-se brake master and boosters are the same, but you still have to swap struts in the front, and the rear rotors, axles, backing plates, and calipers. the actual axle housing is the same as a gsl

the gsl-se has bigger brakes, but its a lot more work than its worth.
mike A SE swap is worth it for many reasons.. Bigger brakes....and easier to find rims for.. I payed $150. for my front SE set up..still on the cross memeber.... calipers...rotors....struts..springs.etc..etc.. 84/85 all models use the same booster... SE master is diffrent..and I payed $40. for mine with a life time warrenty.. I havent found a rear end yet...but they usally go for $200. locally So thats.. 150.. for the front set up.. 40.....for the master 200...for the rear..... /100 for the braided hoses.. I wil say another 100 for extras.. Thats abotu $500. and you have a bigger rbake set up..that mos people pay 3k for ...so its worth it to me.. A GSL rear is not the same as a SE... diffrent calipers... diffrent pads... diffrent rotors... http://mazdatrix.com/j-2brake.htm |
Shoot Fire, Son....
Why add SE parts to a GS, when you can have one of mine for $3 K, or maybe less if you convince me you'll be good to her.... Denny |
