well, was trying to turn on the car after a week or so sitting on 20 degree weather. battery was dead, its new too. :rant: anyway put the charger on and the voltmeter spiked all the way. and if i turn on the head lights the tach goes up to like 3500. im a bit puzzled to say the least.

Your best bet is to get the car running and let it warm up and see it from that point.My tach sticks when I used to use it in the cold.
