I just cut my secondary spring down by about half today, and I was wondering if it is possible that the newley cut sping can be sharp enough to puncture something in the diaphram?? is this possible or do i not need to worry?

you can go shopping at the local junk yard, chances are if yours is original its torn or about to tear, i put a thin coat of silicone sealant on mine, till i found one in better shape, , are u having carb trouble or just doing the spring mod thing,,,good luck...
