I noticed this earlier.The guy is obviously running a stand alone setup but how is it that hes running a regular set of coils and dizzy from a earlier rotary on his T2 and still keeping it injected?Thats a clean install on that RX3.

Simple, There are two possible reasons.



1) He is using the stock ECU (before the TII) as he stated. The early FC's used Distributor coils. In the US we only got the Crank angle Sensor models.



or



2) He is using a fuel only ECU, and is running a distributor. Very common as well.

thats soooo clean as opposed to having all the sensors and harness' everywhere.

Its one of the early FC engines. (s4)

He's got one of the original Microtech ECU's. Unfortunately he doesn't know anything about the engine at all, all the engine work was done by a rotory workshop.

the halteck e6k instructions have a diagram for the stock dizzys too, although ive never seen anyone do that

That would be nice to have the stocker ignition so it doesn't clutter up the engine bay.
