Well yeah, but that is European exotic. Anyone with a couple extra bucks would by one just for the name, regardless of what piles of crapola they were/are.

We talking Japanese entry/mid sports car with a general bad rep

Enthusiasts would eat it up at auction I think, probably do better than 8K if sold tomorrow, I was speculating a jap import generating the stoopid money that other cars of lesser performance generate.

You really have to watch when restoring these vehicles. Currently the used car market is in the

toilet. Both the sevens and Z cars are not bringing the right money and you can drop a ton in both

of the cars. As far as there being a profound interest in these cars like the "cuda" NOT

You will see the Pope go by on a hang glider before that. I been in the car business for 20yrs.

and it aint gonna happen.

Good Luck

A lot of talk about if the value of the car will rise far enough to cover the cost of the restoration. I look at it this way. Will you enjoy the process in restoring the car? If you do then when or if the car value increases becomes secondary. I am currently restoring back to original condition a 82 RX7. It will not be a full 100 point restoration when I am done but it will look and drive very nice. When I am done I will have more in the car than what it is worth but so what. I am enjoying myself and that in and of itself has value to me.
