Yeah 250hp will mean either a turbo or a bridgeport, if this is your first rotary project I'd suggest doing a stock rebuild, adding a full Racing Beat exhaust and K&N panel filter, and enjoy the resulting 160-ish hp for a while

Then switch to a Weber carb for an additional 20hp or so.

It'll be pretty quick then.

Cheers

yeah, im gonna be driving in a year or so, so i have plenty of time to learn, right now it needs a new exhaust, tie rods, interior, fan and some other ****.. But i was planning on starting on intake/exhaust then, turbos and the other stuff... Is there any good site you would recommend for 1st generation rx-7's? (parts)

My turbo setup probably cost $2700 total, including the engine block w/ a transmission.

I'm about to drop another $300 in it for a racing clutch/pressure plate.

The engine is so powerful that it just spins the stock clutch.
