I am considering purchasing an 85 gsl-se (my 3rd rx-7) but unlike my previous cars, this one does not have power steering. I have checked with re-speed and the rack and pinion they offer is not power but they may be able to find a way to modify it to power. My question: Has any one else tried to change over to power steering? Who can I contact that may make a conversion kit? I am getting a lot of play in the steering box and may want to change it out once I buy the car. I plan to use the car as a daily car not interested in racing and I would like the steering to be easier to turn. Any ideas?

the stock p/s setup bolts right on to a non ps car. you need the pump, lines, box and column, and the little ecu box, and maybe 2 relays.



in other words you need the whole setup off the old car
