hello to all rotor heads. i have searched but with no luck to find the awnser to my question. I was wondering does a rear seat of a 86 gxl fit a 85 gsl? any mods need to be done to make it fit? Thanks for the help in advance

 

i think the 86 is a bit wider than the 85.

 

In Japan, ALL rx7's had rear seats, except the verts, just try and get in contact with a person in Japan, and you should be good to go,.

 

just wanted to give an update i have sucessfully installed the 86 gxl rear seats in my 85 gsl they fit pretty much perfect and look real good also all of the brakets from the 86 are also on the 85 i found this weird could it be that my car is a imsa editon? well thanks you guys for helping me out with this

thats good to know. my friends wife, was talking about having to get a rear seat for their first gen and i told them good luck....
