i have a '85 gs also. ive had mine up to 105ish i was giving her all she had...... also the steering got really really loose so i wouldnt want to take it much faster anyways :unsure:

 

She's totaled now, but I had my '80 with the RP streetport 12A past the 125 mark on the speedometer by a good margin on SH360 in Arlington...speed is severely addicting... Here's the story when it hit the track and did a dyno day one week before the accident...sob...
