Well, i hope you havent taken it off yet.

The air conditioner uses toxic chemicals to cool down stuff. If you are a nice environment loveing person, you will go get the thing drained.

If you are like m... some people.... you will just unscrew it until you hear a HSSSSSSS and then run. leave it for 20 minutes, and then unbolt everything.

The gas is toxic, and is heavier than air. If you breathe it, it stays in the bottom of your lungs.

I took my AC off, it turned out the ac clutch was phrucked and was draggin down my engine BIG TIME.

whoops....I mean.. I have a friend...(yes, that will do)...that ..umm ..did that on mine before I told him no... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

how long ago? it seems your friend is still alive.... perhaps he will survive.

I HEARD (rumor here) that you would have to stand on your head and have someone tap your back rather vigorously to get the gases out.

Film it when you do, so if it doesnt actually work at least we will be able to watch it later and laugh our asses off!!

I can think of easier ways to get heavier "gasses" out of the system...

yeah i hear that, mine only drained for a few minutes. but i took a shower, then forgot about it, so it got like an hour to clear before i took the rest out.

But my engine is soooo much cleaner now!!

here is an outdated picture (i have since cleaned it up a bit more, and put an E-Fan in.)

nope, they are rare. About as easy to find as rockinghorse ****.

There is a misconception going around that we had them delivered cos we never got a first-gen 13B, but the only 12at's here are jap imports. In saying that though, our 84 and 85 (series 3) had all the GSL-SE fruit minus the 13B, including big fuel lines and baffled tank for feeding the turbo.
