Sending it to Aussie land for repairs tomorrow.

how do you know its dead? 90% of the time, its a wiring issue, sucks to wait 2-3 weeks and have it come back testing ok

I tried everything the Haltech guys suggested, and I don't see how it could be a wiring issue since I DID have communication, and for a very long time. Meanwhile none of the wiring changed.
I posted to the Haltech users group and received zero replies, as well as on here, and didn't really get anything. In other words, I didn't have any other options.
The Haltech guy also suggested this is a common problem in the X series.

Okay so since my Haltech is in Australia and my pulley is on its way from Racing Beat via RotorMotorSports, I decided to take a look at the brakes and see how I could convert my 4 lug to 5 and switch to FC 4 pot calipers and vented discs.
It appears I will just need to make a caliper for the fronts and rears, but the rear is where it gets interesting. I have drum brakes and since the hubs are attached to the axles, it seems like I'll either need to get the hubs redrilled in the back for 5xsomething or get new axles made . I'm hoping the former can be done, I really don't think it will sacrifice the integrity of the hub.
Here are some pics I took:

I'm really not sure what type of bracket is required to hold the calipers in place for the rears. I guess I'll just have to look at the FSM and see how it's done stock.
This is one of the interior pieces I'm excited about...does it look factory?

[quote name='Dysfnctnl85' date='Apr 19 2005, 11:25 AM']One more thing...I had to make a lot of Y connections with the main +12v (B/W) wire in the engine bay, so it looks really nasty with like 3 or 4 Ys in it. What's a simple, effective way of cleaning this up to make it look nice? Is there some sort of board or something I could wire all of these wires that needed ignition switched sources and connect them to that main +12v switched wire? I hope that makes sense...

A simple power distribution block?
OR - You Could use the 2nd Gen Fuse box to feed the needs..

Well guys I'm at school again so things will slow down ; however, I still don't have my ECU back anyway. I better hear from them today or they're getting a phonecall.
At any rate, I did pick up some brakes from a 5-lug FC at the local Pull-A-Part so hopefully I can swap them on the front with little modification.
The rears are a different story. It would have required a ton of work to get just the rear brakes off, and since they're only single piston, I wasn't about to tackle that job. I want to get my rear hubs redrilled for 5 lug and then just find some calipers that will work well with some crossdrilled/slotted rotors.
Here are some pics of the goods, they look rough, so I'll have to pickup some rebuild kits and some nice paint so they look clean .
