my 82 GSL is a 2+2, and i want to get the seats redone, but I CANNOT seem to get that damn rear seat out. Am i merely too ******* stupid, or am i not supposed to get it outta there. And seeing as how i want to put it back in, I'm not going to just cut the damn thing outta there. Any ideas? PLEASE HELP!

US model rear seats were a dealer-install option in place of the storage bins. I found one at Pull-A-Part a few years back and robbed the rear seat out of it. IIRC it bolts through the rear wheel well (! rust city!) on either side. Isn't the seat cushion and back a one piece assembly? You might have to remove the cardboard cut-outs to find some of the bolts.
