For the longest time my oil pressure guage always went to around 60...but now its going consideraly higher...and lower...i'm guessing around 10 psi each way...should I be worrying about this?

My second question...i've been having some problems with my transmission...mostly the synch on 3rd...it doesn't like going in or out...and double clutching does help...but not as much as i'd like

how hard is it to remove the transmission...would I need to remove the engine to do this??

and how about rebuilding them...how hard is that?...if its not too bad...i've got another transmission on an 85 that I could use for parts...also...would like to get my hands on the 5th gear from a second gen tranny...i think that would lower my rpm's in overdrive considerably...i'm not happy with 4K at 70

Guess i'm off to look for parts now...its about that time of year...new plugs, filter, belts, hoses...all that good stuff...my car tends to run very hot...and the hoses and such don't last long...not sure if this is just my car...or all rx-7's...same with the exhaust pipes...they glow after a good run...no cats or nothing...just...glow

anyway...any help would be appreciated...off to hunt for parts
