My mechanic is replacing the yoke again and asked to check the alighment

Make sure he double checks the pinion angle.Thats the biggest mistake of swapping trannies and one of the most costly parts if you don't get the angle right.

I've seen 3500lb cars with 700+ Hp running ford 9" rear that have yet to break a

yoke. There has to be something mechanical binding. How modified is the rear

suspension to make it fit?

We found the problem. The yoke was not aligned and when I went to take off the diff would move and cause the yoke to twist to much and cause it to brake.

Nice setup, I was thinking of getting a supra box for when I get a s5 engine, but I think I'll keep the s5 box and if I break it, I'll get a supra one.

Good luck breaking it.My S4 T2 Tranny will be a challenge to break.I hear they can take up to 450hp before need strengthened gears.
