yeah dac put the 13b in a sidekick. so i think you could prob put anything in anything

 

Hey Clueless, hey boys ,back again after a slight computer problem and a few other cash flow probs!! In my neck of the woods there's a couple of gen ones with 20B's fitted. I'm not sure how the chassiswould take it as a friend of mine who curcuit races a '79 with a 13B turbo bridgeport, tends to have to weld floors etc after a couple of meetings just from the twisting affect!! :P It has about 290 hp at the rear wheels and I can tell as insanely quick! As Isamu said not impossible but from fixing/driving high hp rotors you'll have to adress other systems in the car as well. As for the MX-5, a couple of guys over here do 13b conversions but I haven't heard of 20b swap. It may be a bit too long for the engine bay. But you never know....

 

13b1stgen, what do you mean the engine is worth more than the car? Just wonderin'.



Can someone give a site to go to for a list of mods that can be done to a 13b engine and also a 20b engine. Thanks.

 

You wont see many 79 RX7s for 4-5k...a 20 b will run you about that much..
