I personally think its pretty clever :-p

I'm using the stock main piece, w/ the dual 90deg. bends in it, w/ the braided center section. Then, i'm using a Turbonetics custom bit, that USUALLY attaches to the turbo. Here i have used the supplied gasket in between, and attached the Turbonetics bit (the shiney aluminum thing), to the stock one, using a bolt/lockwasher/nut assembly. Then, common ribbed-style hose adapters, two of them, pointing to each other, with a VERY short piece of hose in between. Secured by two hose clamps.

I see NO WAY that this could fail! Plus it was EASY !!! No custom line required!!

CHeck it out:

The front cover is tapped to somehting like 1/2" pipe coarse thread, tapered. This is a common size, i actually had it done at a wheels shop. They did it for FREE!!! Now THATS great service (they also have 25cent cokes outside!!).

I think the BEST part of this design is, taking the oil line off is EASY!!! just two bolts, and you are free to take off the turbo, front cover, or whatever. You dont have to haslte w/ disconnecting and unscrewing lines, or busting knuckles trying to get the hose off the ribbed connector.

Don't you have a stock TII engine?

Why wouldn't the stock lines work?

Stock tii engine. Yup. But in a GSL-SE, thus the front cover swap.
